Suspect Wanted: 46-year-old Individual Accused of Burglary and Cyber Crime in Multiple Cases (Associated with BPOLI MD)
In a significant development, a 46-year-old man of Polish origin was arrested by the Federal Police in Magdeburg on September 5, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. The arrest was made in response to an arrest warrant issued by the Heidelberg Regional Court on July 9, 2025.
The man, who does not have a fixed residence in Germany, was found wanted due to multiple counts of theft and computer fraud. Federal Police officers, upon locating him near Magdeburg Central Station, served him with the arrest warrant, took him into custody, and brought him to the Federal Police premises at the station.
Upon his arrival, the state police took over the individual from the Federal Police officers. The state police are now responsible for his custody. Subsequently, he was taken to a detention facility.
