Suspect Sought in E-Scooter Collision Involving a Cyclist
A traffic accident on the bike path of Gütersloher Straße, near Kupferhammer, left a 53-year-old woman from Bielefeld with minor injuries on Thursday around 11:55 AM.
According to reports, the woman was riding an electric micro-vehicle when someone hit her from behind, causing her to fall. The suspect, described as a person around 35 to 45 years old with dark hair, spoke German with an accent, and was riding a black electric ladies' bicycle, rode off quickly after the accident without responding to the woman's calls.
The bicycle involved in the incident is a black Zündapp city electric bike. While personal documents of a 52-year-old police-known homeless man were found in connection with similar stolen bicycles, it is not confirmed that he is the suspect in this case.
