Suspect Named in Aliante Casino Homicide Case Following Series of Carjackings
In a dramatic turn of events in Las Vegas early on March 28, 2025, a high-speed car chase ensued following a fatal shooting at the Aliante Casino and Hotel in North Las Vegas. The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Aerion Warmsley, led police on a chaotic 20-mile chase that included multiple carjackings and culminated in his arrest.

The North Las Vegas Mayor, Pamela Goynes-Brown, delivered her 2025 State of the City address at the Aliante Casino, but did not address the homicide. Steve Grammas, president of the Las Vegas Protective Association, praised the police for their persistence in apprehending Warmsley.
