Suspect, following the attack, remains defiant and uncooperative.
In an unusual turn of events, a 19-year-old Cameroonian man caused a commotion at Magdeburg Central Station on August 22, 2025. The incident, which took place in the pedestrian tunnel, led to the man's arrest by federal police officers.
According to reports transmitted via news aktuell by the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg, the suspect reacted aggressively when approached by the officers. He gesticulated wildly, refused to comply with instructions, and even attempted to poke the officers with his fingers.
The suspect was subsequently restrained and taken to the federal police station, where he continued to resist. He dropped to the ground, tried to kick and punch, and attempted to entangle the officers' legs. Despite his efforts, the officers managed to maintain control.
During his detention, the suspect urinated in the cell and repeatedly insulted the deployed officers in French. As a result, he now faces charges of bodily harm, resisting law enforcement, and insulting an official.
