Suspect Arrested in Connection with Robbery Incident

In an unexpected turn of events, a 25-year-old Georgian man has been apprehended by the Schwerin police following a robbery that took place in Moritz-Wiggers-Straße. The incident occurred around 7:00 PM, and the details were transmitted by Police Headquarters Rostock.

The victim of the robbery was a 61-year-old German. According to reports, the suspect snatched a bag from the victim's hand and fled. Witnesses noted the suspect's escape route and immediately notified the police.

During a search of the escape route, the officers found a blank-firing weapon. This weapon could be the weapon used in the crime. The investigations into the robbery in Schwerin have been taken over by the Criminal Police associated with the Rostock Police Headquarters.

The Schwerin Public Prosecutor's Office has issued an arrest warrant for the suspect, and the Schwerin District Court has ordered its execution. The 25-year-old Georgian is now in custody. The officers found the suspect in a back yard and recovered the victim's stolen bag.
