Successful heist in two apartments: Crime tactics by Pol-BI result in stolen goods
In Bielefeld, Germany, a series of burglaries have been reported on Wilfriedstraße and Dresdener Straße on August 27, 2025. The culprits, posing as movers and letter writers, have been causing concern for the local community.
The duo, comprising a woman and a man, were described as follows: The woman was approximately 1.65 to 1.70 meters tall, around 20 to 22 years old, very slim, with long dark hair, and wore a black skirt. She also had an Eastern European accent. The man wore a black shirt and black pants and was around 55 years old.
The incidents began around 2:00 PM on Wilfriedstraße, where a woman posing as a letter writer gained entry to a house under false pretenses. In another instance, around 6:00 PM, a couple posing as movers targeted a multi-family house on Dresdener Straße.
The modus operandi of the thieves was to deceive the residents with a false story about writing a letter and distract a senior resident to steal jewelry. On Dresdener Straße, the elderly woman resident let the couple into her house and showed them an apartment. While the man was writing, the woman placed a bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table and asked to use the toilet. After a few minutes, the Bielefeld resident became suspicious and asked the couple to leave. However, by then, the male thief had already taken several pieces of jewelry.
No further details about the incidents on Dresdener Straße were provided. The police did, however, confirm that the woman involved in the thefts on Wilfriedstraße and Dresdener Straße is the same young, slim woman with long dark hair, an Eastern European accent, and wearing a black skirt.
