Stuttgart’s Volunteer Social Year Event Opens Doors for Young Changemakers
An information and networking event about the Volunteer Social Year (VSY) will take place on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, at the Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart. The free event runs from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and welcomes all interested visitors, particularly students in their final school years. Organisers promise insights into the programme through films, discussions, and interactive activities.
The VSY gives young people a chance to take on responsibility, explore new challenges, and gain practical life experience. At the event, attendees can visit a 'Market of Possibilities', where they will meet programme providers, deployment sites, and current and former volunteers. Hands-on activities will also be available to showcase the variety of opportunities.
The event aims to connect young people with VSY opportunities while fostering social engagement. Through discussions, films, and direct interactions, visitors can learn how volunteer work contributes to community cohesion. Those interested must register by the deadline to secure their place.
