In Viseu, Portugal, the second edition of the Mateus Fest is underway, with Brazilian rapper Matuê as the headliner. The festivities, part of the São Mateus Fair program, are scheduled to run from September 7 to September 21.

On Friday night, during the concert of Lon3r Johny and ProfJam, a small part of the structure in front of the stage gave way, causing a temporary interruption. Four people were treated on site for minor injuries, but the concert resumed after the conditions were made safe.

The organization of the Mateus Fest event is handled by the Municipality of Viseu (Câmara Municipal de Viseu). The incident has been a topic of discussion, but the cause of the damage remains unknown at this time.

Following the incident, a security perimeter was created, and the stage front was extended to ensure that the audience felt comfortable at the Mateus Fest. The structure was replaced, and normal functioning was restored at the site.

The Mateus Fest is one of the highlights of the São Mateus Fair program. In addition to Matuë, Portuguese artists Van Zee, Lon3r Johny, ProfJam, and DJ Perez were also on the lineup for the Mateus Fest. Today, Gipsy King took to the stage, adding to the excitement of the event.

Despite the incident, the Mateus Fest continues to attract a large crowd, showcasing a diverse range of music and entertainment. The fair promises to offer a memorable experience for all attendees, with more exciting events scheduled in the coming days.
