Strengthening perimeters for single-elimination playoff at the stadium: BSVG applies increased security measures
On Saturday at 1 PM, Eintracht Braunschweig will host Arminia Bielefeld at their home stadium in Braunschweig. To facilitate the travel of football fans, Braunschweiger Verkehrs-AG (BSVG) has organised special transportation arrangements.
In the direction of Wendhausen, a special bus will be deployed for line 424. BSVG will also deploy additional vehicles to ensure fan safety. The travel pass, exclusive for the game and not a general pass for BSVG vehicles, will be valid on all BSVG vehicles within Braunschweig, tariff zone 40. Match tickets will serve as travel passes during the specified time frame, three hours before the kick-off until the end of service.
Between 10:32 AM and 12:32 PM, special trips will reinforce lines 1 and 2 from "Hauptbahnhof" towards "Stadion". For fans travelling from Wenden in the north, special trips will run between 11:04 AM and 12:21 PM from "Heideblick" to "Stadion".
Bus line 424 will run an extra trip from Wendhausen via Essenrode, Grassel, Bevenrode, Waggum, Bienrode, and Wenden to the stadium starting at 11:05 AM. The special bus for line 424 will be an additional transportation option for fans. Bus line 426 will be reinforced with extra trips at 10:57 AM, 11:12 AM, 11:42 AM, and 11:57 AM from "Helenenstraße". Buses on bus line 426 will depart from "Hamburger Straße" via Mittelweg to the stadium.
After the game, special trains and buses will be available for football fans. The travel pass is applicable only within the city of Braunschweig, tariff zone 40, and does not extend to areas outside of this zone. It is important to note that the travel pass is only valid during the specified time frame.
