Frankfurt am Main residents and road users should be aware of several construction projects taking place in the city over the coming months. The city has provided a comprehensive interactive construction map on its official website (www.wiesbaden.de) for more information.

Firstly, the Rheinstraße will be fully closed from August 11 to approximately October 6 due to the renewal of the sewer line. This closure will take place between Gustav-Freytag-Straße and Humboldtstraße. Traffic disruptions are also expected in Kastel during this period. Road users are recommended to plan detours and avoid the area to minimise inconvenience.

Pedestrians can continue to use their usual route, but cyclists will need to detour during the construction period. The city will separately inform residents about access possibilities.

Starting from August 22, the Berliner Straße will be affected due to bridge work, with the railway underpass in Erbenheim closed. This work is expected to last until further notice.

In addition, the Solmsstraße will be closed from August 11 to approximately October 6 for sewer renovation work. This closure will affect the city of Frankfurt am Main.

Work on house connections on behalf of ESWE Versorgungs AG will close the Anhalterweg in Bierstadt at house numbers 6-12 until approximately Friday, June 2.

Lastly, starting October 23, the gas and drinking water pipelines in the area of Rheinstraße/Bahnhofstraße will be renewed. More information about this project and its potential impact on road users will be made available closer to the start date.

The city encourages road users to plan their journeys accordingly and to check the interactive construction map regularly for updates on traffic disruptions. By working together, we can ensure a smooth and safe city during these construction periods.
