In the quiet town of Rhein-Kreis Neuss, two incidents of break-ins have occurred, causing a stir in the community. On Tuesday, October 8th, between 7:27 PM and Wednesday, October 9th, 7:40 AM, a sports facility on Sportplatzweg in Grevenbroich was targeted, with the perpetrators making off with a technical device and various tools.

Simultaneously, an attempted break-in was reported at a clubhouse on Stephanusstraße in Rommerskirichken. Although the unknown intruders were unsuccessful in stealing anything, they did force open a gate and a door to gain entry. Initial investigations suggest that the rooms were searched, but nothing was taken.

Both cases are being investigated by the Criminal Commissioner 24, who is seeking witnesses for any information that could help in their investigation. The police have requested anyone with useful information to contact them on 02131 3000.

During the Grevenbroich incident, an alarm was triggered around 1:30 AM. The perpetrators forced open the entrance door and damaged the lighting and alarm system in the process.
