Stolen Mobile Phone in Regional Train Investigation: Federal Police urge victims and eyewitnesses to provide crucial details for the case in BPOL-KS

In a recent development, a 21-year-old man has been apprehended by the Federal Police in Kassel following an incident on the Regional Express 50 train from Frankfurt a.M. to Schlüchtern on August 31.

The suspect is wanted on an open arrest warrant from the Frankfurt a.M. District Court for robbery. The theft occurred between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM, during the train journey from Schlüchtern towards Fulda.

According to reports, the 21-year-old approached an 18-year-old passenger and claimed to have stolen a mobile phone from an older woman. An 18-year-old passenger reported the incident to the Federal Police.

The suspect was later found in Fulda station based on a description. During the inspection, the officers found the described phone. However, the suspect denied the crime and claimed to have found the mobile phone on the train toilet.
