In a series of events that unfolded across the region, several incidents have been reported, including traffic accidents, a fire, and a theft.

On Wednesday morning, a traffic accident occurred on the B465 between Wittlingen and Seeburg, involving a 62-year-old driver and his BMW. The extent of his injuries is still unclear. In another incident on the same day, a public bus and a VW Touareg collided on the B27b. As a result, the driver of the VW and 13 passengers in the bus, aged between 21 and 64, were lightly injured. Three of the passengers were taken to nearby hospitals.

On the K6745, two motorcyclists were injured in a traffic accident. The leading rider, a 61-year-old woman, veered off the road to the right in a curve and crashed. Her 70-year-old follower then braked and also crashed. Both women were taken to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity. Their motorcycles were towed away.

In a separate incident, a traffic accident occurred on Lehmgrubenstraße, where a 50-year-old woman was injured. As alcohol smell was detected during the accident investigation, she also had to give a blood sample.

Elsewhere, a small fire occurred in an apartment in the market street on Wednesday afternoon. The fire department arrived quickly and extinguished the small fire and ventilated the apartment and building. The fire was caused by a resident accidentally turning on the stove while cleaning and placing a small rug on it. The estimated material damage is around 2,000 euros.

A fire in the exhaust duct of a machine occurred at an Onstmettingen company on Wednesday morning. The fire was extinguished by the company's fire protection, and the damage is estimated at about 100 euros.

In a case of theft, two attachment devices were stolen from a construction site on the K6767 between Tuesday and Wednesday. Witnesses who have noticed suspicious vehicles or have made other suspicious observations in connection with the stolen attachment devices are asked to call the Alb police station.

Similarly, a break-in occurred at a guesthouse on the Herrenberger Straße between Tuesday and Wednesday. An unknown person damaged a window and gained entry to the building, but left without stealing anything. The Tübingen police station has taken up the investigation of the break-in and is examining possible connections to other cases reported in the last 14 days.

The perpetrator of the theft cases in Sonnenbühl from August 7 to 15 was identified through investigative work by the police, likely involving evidence collection and witness statements.

In light of these incidents, witnesses who may have observed the traffic accidents or seen the cyclist earlier are asked to call the Hechingen police station. Anyone with information regarding the suspicious activities related to the stolen attachment devices is encouraged to contact the Alb police station.
