Stockton Kings celebrate G-League title with ring ceremony and community spirit
The Stockton Kings marked their G-League championship win with a special ring ceremony on Sunday. Before the game, the team celebrated their victory in front of fans, blending sports with community spirit. The event also included performances and a tribute to Black History Month.
The first 1,000 supporters at the game received a free championship keychain as a keepsake. The Stockton Kings took the court in custom Black History-themed jerseys, which will later be auctioned to fund local community projects.
The Bristow Middle School choir opened the evening with a rendition of the National Anthem. At halftime, Christian hip-hop artist Miles Minnick took the stage, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The event also doubled as a team-bonding trip for the Venture Academy High School basketball team, who attended together.
The championship ring ceremony highlighted the Kings' recent success while tying in local talent and cultural recognition. The auctioned jerseys will support community efforts, extending the team's impact beyond the court. Fans left with memorabilia and memories of a night that combined sports, music, and celebration.
