In a significant move, global human resources services leader Adecco has announced key appointments within its ranks. Tig Gilliam, previously the global head of Supply Chain Management Services at IBM Global Business Services, has joined the company and will take on the role of Country Manager for Adecco's operations in the US and Canada, effective from March 1, 2007.
Gilliam, with a wealth of experience spanning over 42 years, brings a wealth of expertise to Adecco. Before his tenure at IBM, he spent 15 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the US. Dieter Scheiff, the group CEO of Adecco, warmly welcomed Gilliam to the company.
Meanwhile, Ray Roe, who has led Adecco's North American operations since 2004, is moving into new roles. Roe, who is 61 years old, was instrumental in stabilising the company's North American operations. He will now be appointed as Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia, although the exact date for this change is yet to be specified.
