Stablecoin spending across LATAM becomes possible with Dinari's USD+ backed by Rain, resulting in yield-bearing features for users.

In a groundbreaking move, Rain, an enterprise-grade infrastructure for stablecoin-powered payments, has announced native support for USD+, a yield-bearing stablecoin issued by Dinari. This integration is considered a historic milestone in stablecoin innovation.

USD+, backed 1:1 by U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents, currently yields approximately 5% APY. This means that users can earn while they hold, creating a radically better financial experience for those in regions where traditional dollar accounts are inaccessible or underwhelming.

With Rain's integration of USD+, neobanks, brokers, and fintechs can now offer their customers regulated access to U.S. financial products that were previously out of reach. Rain's technology is designed to be token-agnostic, stablecoin-native, and built to evolve as the asset landscape expands.

One such partner is Offramp, a global neobank with a focus on emerging markets such as LATAM. Offramp is excited to deepen its partnership with Rain and Dinari as the first launch partner for USD+. Offramp's customers, located outside of the United States, can now hold USD+ in their accounts, earn daily yield, and use that balance for purchases around the world with their Offramp card. These balances are instantly spendable anywhere Visa is accepted, turning idle funds into an income-generating, global payment source.

Through Rain's support for USD+, Offramp aims to unlock the true potential of stablecoins for users in emerging markets by combining spendability with yield generation. Offramp's customers can also invest in tokenized equities through Dinari's dShares™, further democratizing access to U.S. dollars and equities globally.

Gabe Otte, the co-founder and CEO of Dinari, a U.S.-based fintech innovator, oversees the Dinari Financial Network, which offers programmable, fully-backed U.S. stock tokens called dShares™ available in over 85 countries and aims to be a compliant global settlement and clearing system for tokenized stocks. The Dinari Financial Network powers both yield-bearing stablecoins (like USD+) and tokenized equities for partners.

In essence, Rain's API allows partners to offer users digital dollar accounts that automatically earn yield, without requiring minimum balances, foreign bank accounts, or complex investment products. This seamless integration of USD+ into the financial ecosystem marks a significant step towards a more inclusive, accessible, and profitable financial future for users worldwide.
