In a series of incidents that occurred over the past day, several areas in and around Diepholz have been affected.

In Stuhr, a traffic collision took place at the intersection of Ristedter Straße and B 51. Two cars were involved in the accident, and both drivers sustained minor injuries. The drivers were unable to present valid driver's licenses, and charges are expected for endangering road traffic and driving without a license. The damaged vehicles were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away, while the damages resulting from the collision amounted to approximately 35,000 euros.

Meanwhile, in St Hülfe, a 43-year-old driver missed a roundabout at the B 51 / B 214 intersection, under the influence of alcohol with a level of 1.9 per mil. The incident resulted in damages estimated at 17,500 euros. The police are seeking witnesses, particularly the two drivers from the oncoming traffic, to gather more information about this incident.

Elsewhere, a barn fire broke out in Diepholz, causing significant damage. The fire destroyed one barn and resulted in damages estimated at approximately 800,000 euros. Some sows and piglets inside the burning barn did not survive, but the property residents escaped unharmed. The police are investigating the cause of the fire and have secured the scene.

In a separate incident in Aldorf, a barn on an agricultural property caught fire this morning at approximately 08:25 AM. The fire department prevented the fire from spreading to another barn and the house. Further details about the damages resulting from this incident are not available at this time.
