Spread of Coronavirus escalates in educational institutions including schools and kindergartens

In the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases stands at 945, with 40 individuals currently hospitalized. Tragically, the number of deaths remains at 30.

Meanwhile, 1,801 individuals are in quarantine as suspected cases. Among those recently confirmed are two students from Rommerskirchen-Frixheim Primary School and a teacher from Kleinenbroich's Gutenberg Primary School. Additionally, three infected individuals attended the Berufskolleg/ Berufsbildungszentrum (BBZ) Grevenbroich, prompting the quarantine of the affected classes of students and three classes where the teacher has taught.

Two children at the KindertagesstΓ€tte Schatzkiste in Neuss-Holzheim have also tested positive for Coronavirus.

However, there is some good news. A total of 2,063 people have successfully recovered from the infection in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss.

The 7-day incidence value of the Landeszentrum Gesundheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LZG) currently stands at 148.8 for the Rhein-Kreis Neuss.
