New Modern Sports Facilities Open in Vladivostok

Vladivostok, Russia is seeing a surge in sports infrastructure with the opening of several new facilities. These facilities, expected to be operational by late November, are part of a larger development master plan and are being funded by a special treasury loan.

One of the first to open is a new sports complex on Ocean Prospekt. Sports enthusiasts have already had the opportunity to train with Olympic champions, with young boxers and their coaches learning from two-time Olympic champion Oleg Saitov. The facility, constructed by the company "VladivostokStroy," boasts a rubber surface and fencing for safety.

Another addition to the city is a new modern sports building in Morozova, 7 area. This facility, also open for public use, offers basketball courts, table tennis equipment, and a workout zone created in collaboration with the "Sport starts with children" charity foundation and the "Match TV" channel.

The site that was previously a wasteland has been transformed into a versatile space suitable for various activities. In addition to the facilities mentioned above, new sports spaces are planned to open at Kolesnikova, 5, 100th Anniversary of Vladivostok, 135, Kashtanovaya, 11, Cheremushkaya, 22, and Borisenko, 96 by 2025.

The first visitors to these new facilities were students from the city's sports schools. Deputy Mayor of Vladivostok, Maxim Aculshin, participated in the opening ceremony of the new sports facility. Plans also include improving the surrounding area of these facilities to create a more enjoyable environment for visitors.

These new facilities are a full-fledged space for health-conscious individuals and active enthusiasts. Whether you're a basketball player, a table tennis enthusiast, or simply looking for a place to work out, these facilities offer a welcoming and modern environment for all.

In addition to the facilities mentioned above, modern sports facilities have opened at Khabarovskaya, 7, 2nd Poselkovaya, 34, Sukhanova, 4, and Sipyagina, 22. These facilities, too, are expected to provide a valuable resource for the sports community in Vladivostok.
