South closes swimming pool unexpectedly
The South Swimming Hall will be closing its doors to the public earlier than usual on Monday, September 1st, 2025. According to the latest announcement, the facility will be closing at 2 PM, and bathing guests will only be admitted until 1 PM on that day.
It's important to note that this closure does not affect school operations, which will continue as planned. The Brand Swimming Hall, Ulla-Klinger Hall, Elisabeth Hall, and Hangeweiher Outdoor Pool will remain open at their published times.
The reason behind the early closure of the South Swimming Hall is due to current staff shortages. However, further opening times for the facility will be announced shortly.
