In the heart of Solingen, the city known for its steel and innovation, the 15th Berg-Pitch by Solingen.Business took place at codecentric AG in Ohligs. This year's event, filled with excitement and anticipation, brought together a diverse range of startups, industry experts, and a keynote speaker.
Five startups showcased their innovative ideas in the final round, each vying for the top spot. Among them was Choosy, an app that uses artificial intelligence to revolutionize meal planning, saving users time on shopping and planning. Their unique approach resonated with the judges and the audience, earning them the top prize.
The Dashdock team also made it onto the podium with their flexible platform that uses artificial intelligence and digital twins to manage various contact points in companies. The platform supports marketing, sales, and creative projects by simplifying and digitizing processes.
Another contender, Viatolea, was honoured with the Healthcare Award from the Bergische Krankenkasse. Viatolea's AI-supported health platform, LipoCheck, improves the diagnosis and treatment of lipoedema, offering patients support throughout the treatment process and easier access to health services through telemedicine.
The event also featured a keynote by Aaron Troschke, a moderator and YouTube star. Aaron shared his experiences as an entrepreneur, putting the ups and downs of his entrepreneurial journey at the centre. His inspiring talk encouraged the startups and attendees to persevere in their endeavours.
