Solar Energy Company, Saatvik Green Energy, Secures Letter of Award for Supplying 1500 Solar-Powered Water Pumps in Maharashtra from MSEDCL

In a significant stride towards sustainable agriculture, Saatvik Green Energy Limited has secured a partnership with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the installation of 1,500 solar water pumping systems across various districts in Maharashtra.

The project marks a milestone for Saatvik Green Energy Limited as it expands its footprint in solar-powered pumps within the state. Prashant Mathur, the CEO of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, expressed his pride in collaborating with MSEDCL on this project, calling it an important initiative in the solar agriculture domain.

Under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY) / PM-Kusum - B Scheme (2025-2026), Saatvik Green Energy Limited will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems. The systems will have capacities of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP DC solar submersible pump sets and will be installed directly at farmers' sites.

The contract also includes repair and maintenance services, a remote monitoring system (RMS), and a five-year system warranty. The project is aimed at ensuring long-term reliability and farmer satisfaction, and forms part of Saatvik's efforts to support India's goal of sustainable and self-reliant agriculture.

The installation of these solar water pumping systems falls under the scope of work provided by MSEDCL. The project is a significant step towards the harnessing of renewable energy for irrigation purposes, contributing to the conservation of traditional water resources and reducing the carbon footprint.

Mr. Mathur, the CEO responsible for the collaboration with MSEDCL for the installation of 1,500 solar power plants under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana / PM-Kusum - B Scheme, expressed his gratitude to MSEDCL for the opportunity to contribute to the agricultural sector in Maharashtra. He also emphasised that the project is a testament to Saatvik's commitment to delivering sustainable solutions for a greener and more self-reliant India.

The Letter of Award for the installation of these 1,500 solar water pumping systems has been received by Saatvik Green Energy Limited from MSEDCL. The project is set to commence soon, bringing solar-powered irrigation systems to farmers across Maharashtra.
