Smilegate unveils dedicated website ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2025, announcing the worldwide premiere of Chaos Zero Nightmare and MIRESI: Invisible Future.
Smilegate, the renowned game development studio, has announced its participation in the Tokyo Game Show 2025. The event, taking place from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, will see Smilegate showcasing two of its upcoming RPGs: Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN) and MIRESI: Invisible Future (MIRESI).
Hyung-seok Kim, the creator of Epic Seven, is helming Chaos Zero Nightmare. This next-generation IP offers a fresh twist on the subculture RPG space by blending collectible RPG character growth with a roguelite card battle system. Super Creative has invested significant resources into character and background design for Chaos Zero Nightmare to push the visual quality of its 2D graphics, promising an immersive gaming experience. The global release of Chaos Zero Nightmare is scheduled for Q4 2025 on PC and mobile.
MIRESI, on the other hand, is a collectible RPG in development at Control 9, the studio responsible for MIRESI and associated projects under Smilegate. The game features striking character designs and a storyline that crosses time and space, aiming to deliver a distinctive experience. Hyung-seop "Hyulla" Kim, the creative mind behind Epic Seven, serves as Art Director for MIRESI. While MIRESI does not have a specified release date, it is targeted for next year.
Smilegate is also hosting follow-and-repost events for the official Japanese X accounts of CZN and MIRESI. Participants stand a chance to win TGS 2025 admission tickets. More information on the booth location and player programs for TGS 2025 will be announced as the event approaches.
