In a seven-month journey, the Visionest Institute, a key player in supporting the growth of Georgian SMEs, completed a capacity-building programme in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This programme, titled "Trade Fair Assistance for SMEs in Georgia", aimed to enhance the international competitiveness of Georgian SMEs, particularly in the fashion, kidswear, and leather sectors.

The programme was a blend of structured training, tailored mentorship, and real-world exposure. A total of 58 Georgian SMEs benefited from this initiative, with 99 individuals receiving certificates of successful completion during the Graduation Ceremony held in Tbilisi.

The programme kicked off with eight training workshops, three of which were held in person in Tbilisi, and five delivered online. The Visionest Institute provided on-site guidance and immediate mentorship to participants throughout these events. The workshops covered topics such as export readiness, brand positioning, international marketing, and negotiation strategies.

Participants also received two tailored mentorship sessions with industry experts from Estonia and the United Kingdom. These sessions were designed to introduce participants to international cooperation and professional presentations at top European trade fairs, including Playtime Paris and MICAM & MIPEL Milano. Direct participation of Georgian fashion brands in these international trade fairs was another key aspect of the programme.

A spirit of sharing and collaboration developed among participants throughout the programme. Nini Patsatsia, a participant, emphasized the importance of seeing things from the buyer's perspective and making follow-ups a priority. COSMO and Nini Patsatsia, two Georgian companies, shared their journey through the programme, highlighting the programme's impact on their businesses.

Anu-Mall Naarits, Visionest CEO, expressed gratitude to all participants, partners, funders, and mentors for making the programme possible. At the Graduation Ceremony's Post-Evaluation Workshop, led by Naarits, participants shared their experiences and insights, further strengthening the bonds formed during the programme.

The Visionest Institute remains committed to supporting the growth of Georgian SMEs with innovative, high-impact programmes. For more information, visit their website at visionest.institute.
