Six people allegedly involved in a burglary at a Rolex store on North Michigan Avenue, commonly known as the Magnificent Mile, have been accused, according to authorities.
In the heart of Chicago, a smash-and-grab theft took place on Friday afternoon. The crime occurred at the Rolex store on North Michigan Avenue, also known as the Mag Mile, at the intersection of Michigan and Huron.
At around 2:37 p.m., six men allegedly entered the store and, using hammers, broke the store's windows. Four of these suspects were involved in the theft, making off with merchandise valued at approximately $170,000, primarily Rolex watches.
The Chicago Police Department has identified and charged six men in connection with the theft. They are Victory Banks (33), Will Brown (21), Aldonte Goodman (22), Anthony Hampton (24), Dalvin Johnson (31), and Armon Williams (18). Following a court hearing on Sunday, all six suspects were ordered to be held in jail.
The suspects, who reside on West 59th Street, have been charged with the cuddle-and-grab robbery at the Rolex store. The stolen items were recovered, but no additional information was provided immediately after the court hearing.
