Sinulog Festival 2025 Crowns Toledo and Tagbilaran as Top Champions

The Sinulog Festival 2025 has crowned its champions across multiple categories. Twelve cities and provinces from the Philippines secured wins or top placements in events like the Grand Parade, Street Dancing, and themed competitions. Prizes totalled millions, with standout performances in choreography, costumes, and musicality.

In the Sinulog-Based category, Tagbilaran City took first place with powerful choreography and striking costumes. Their victory earned them the top prize of P3 million. Banay Labangon also impressed, winning Best in Costume (Sinulog-Based) and a P100,000 reward.

Toledo City dominated the Free Interpretation category, claiming the championship with dynamic choreography and a faithful depiction of devotion to the Señor Santo Niño. Their success extended to Best in Costume (Free Interpretation) and Best in Musicality, each worth P100,000. The top three in this category received P3 million, P2 million, and P1.5 million respectively. The Street Dancing competition saw Toledo City emerge victorious again, delivering an energetic performance rich in cultural storytelling. The top five finishers in this event took home P1 million, P700,000, P500,000, P300,000, and P200,000. Tagbilaran City also secured Best in Musicality (Sinulog-Based), further highlighting their artistic strength in the festival.

The festival distributed substantial cash prizes to winners across all categories. Toledo City and Tagbilaran City led the celebrations, each earning multiple accolades. Their performances set a high standard for future Sinulog competitions.
