Sexual Encounters in Gera-Wittes as Depicted by LPI-G
On August 30, 2025, an emergency call was received reporting public indecency in Lasurstraรe, Gera. According to the Thuringian Police Gera Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 7:34 PM.
The individuals involved were a 35-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, who were engaged in sexual activity in broad daylight and in full public view. The police officers arrived on the scene while the act was still in progress.
Upon approaching the couple, they were advised to keep such activities private in the future. Both the woman and the man were cited for public indecency. The couple stopped and got dressed after the police officers approached them.

It is worth noting that the head of the Gera Police Department, Thomas Lenk, was involved in the reported incident. Mr. Lenk is the current head of the inspection service at the Landespolizeiinspektion Gera and also the mayor and first alderman responsible for security and citizen services in Gera.
