September 2025 Lineup of PlayStation Plus Games

Starting from September 2, PlayStation Plus members will have access to an exciting lineup of games. This month, the service is offering a diverse selection, including quirky storytelling, cosy farming, and reality-bending puzzles.

Among the three games available is Psychonauts 2, developed by Double Fine. This long-awaited sequel to the 2005 cult classic is a unique experience not to be missed. Players take on the role of Razputin "Raz" Aquato, a young psychic who dives into the minds of others to solve puzzles and uncover secrets. In this game, Raz navigates strange dreamscapes while dealing with a mole hidden inside the Psychonauts organization. The game features a mix of platforming and stunning visuals, making it one of the most unique experiences available through PS Plus.

Another game in the September lineup is Stardew Valley, developed by ConcernedApe. This indie game helped popularize "cosy games" and has remained a fan favorite since its 2016 release. Players start with a rundown farm in Stardew Valley and can shape it into a personal oasis. Here, they can raise crops and animals, explore caves, and interact with townsfolk. Few games balance relaxation and depth as well as Stardew Valley.

Lastly, there's Viewfinder, a puzzle game developed by Sad Owl Studios and published by Thunderful Publishing. In this game, players can place photographs of bridges, doors, etc., in the environment to cross gaps or create exits. Viewfinder is a game about perspective, constantly forcing players to rethink what they see and how they interact with space.

Sony is offering this variety of games to keep the service competitive. Xbox Game Pass currently dominates the subscription space, and Sony aims to bridge the gap with a mix of indie darlings, blockbusters, and inventive experiments.

So, whether you're in the mood for a mind-bending adventure, a relaxing farming simulator, or a puzzle game that challenges your perspective, PlayStation Plus has got you covered this September. Happy gaming!
