Fire Investigation Underway in Neuss's Daimlerstraße

A second fire has broken out in a multi-family house on Daimler Street in Neuss, Germany, just a few days after the first incident. The fire occurred on September 14, 2020, at approximately 23:30, and several people suffered minor injuries from smoke. Thankfully, no residents suffered serious injuries, as was the case in the first fire on September 11, 2020.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department Kommissariat 11 are investigating the fires as a criminal matter, likely due to suspicion of arson or related offenses. They searched the scene of the second fire on September 15, 2020, along with a fire expert. Any remaining evidence was secured during this search.
