Searching for Individuals Who Saw the Robbery in Bochum
In the early hours of Saturday, August 23rd, a disturbing incident occurred in Bochum-Langendreer. A 28-year-old resident of Bochum was the victim of a robbery outside a house at Wischelinkstraße 3.
According to the Bochum Police's homicide unit, the victim was threatened with a knife by three unknown men, who demanded cash. After complying, the victim was reportedly struck and attacked with the knife, resulting in minor injuries. The victim was treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital.
The suspects, described as approximately 25 to 35 years old with an "Arabic appearance", spoke broken German with an Arabic accent and presumably Arabic. Two of the suspects are slim and around 170 to 180 cm tall. One wore black gloves, another had a long black beard. The third suspect is said to be around 180 to 190 cm tall and very slim. All suspects were reportedly wearing dark clothing and hoods.
A fourth suspect was said to have been standing at the corner of Alte Bahnhofstraße / Ovelackerstraße, keeping watch. The perpetrators fled in the direction of Langendreer Market after the attack.
