Valuables up for auction - Schumi's watches sold for 3.4 million euros at auction.

A grand total of eight watches that belonged to the legendary Formula 1 racer were up for grabs in an auction.

"The standout item is a F.P. Journe Vagabondage featuring a Ferrari red dial. This priceless piece was anticipated to fetch between 1 and 2 million euros. However, the final bid came in at a mind-boggling 1.2 million euros.

Unique piece in 18-carat white gold: Schumi received this Audemars Piguet from Jean Todt at Christmas 2003

Way back in 2003, Jean Todt presented Schumi with an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak as a Christmas gift. Yet another unique piece, cast in 18-carat gold, and adorned with Schumi's helmet on the dial. The hammer eventually fell at 330,000 euros for this rare timepiece.

A Rolex Daytona "Paul Newman", made in 1971, proved quite desirable, snatching 250,000 euros when it hit the auction block.

A Rolex Daytona, crafted in 14-carat gold - a highly sought-after watch according to Christie's catalog - was a splendid gift from Michael Schumacher's manager, the venerable Willi Weber (82). Despite a projected price range of 250,000 to 500,000 euros, it was sold for just 220,000 euros.
