School employee in California allegedly videotaped incidents of sexual abuse against minors at the school, according to authorities.

In a shocking turn of events, Kim Kenneth Wilson, a former Sacramento elementary school teacher, has been sentenced to 215 years to life in prison for committing lewd acts upon a child. Wilson, who was the head of the campus broadcast club at Del Paso Heights Elementary School, pleaded guilty to nine felony counts related to the abuse.

The crimes allegedly occurred during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years, and involved multiple young students. Wilson is accused of isolating his victims, taking photographs, touching them inappropriately, and forcing them to perform sexual acts. Some of the abuse took place on school grounds, while others occurred at Wilson's home during events.

One of the victims, a second-grader, suffered bodily injuries and shock to her nervous system, which continue to cause her mental and physical pain. The girl's complaint alleges that Wilson took photographs of her genitalia and directed her to hold a sausage in her mouth while he took photographs.

Another victim, a female sixth-grader, was sexually abused during the 2014-15 school year. A civil lawsuit was filed in January 2023 regarding this incident.

In addition to the criminal charges, Wilson is also involved in two civil lawsuits related to student abuse. One of these lawsuits was settled earlier this month for $6 million. The search results do not provide information about which California school district is involved in the two civil lawsuits against Wilson.

The district is accused of failing to supervise Wilson's behavior, allowing his misconduct to continue for years. The school district is also accused of knowing or should have known about Wilson's sexual abuse of multiple young students and failing to protect their safety. The case remains open in Sacramento County Superior Court.

During a search of Wilson's home, authorities found child-sized artificial genitalia, a child-sized torso with artificial genitalia, and a vast trove of recordings depicting Wilson assaulting children. Most of the crimes took place in the club's private, windowless, soundproof room.

In a separate case, Jacqueline Ma, a San Diego County educator, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for grooming and sexually assaulting two boys in her elementary school classroom.

The Twin Rivers School District did not respond to a request for comment regarding Kim Kenneth Wilson on Friday. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
