The World Poker Tour (WPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) have unveiled an action-packed schedule for their upcoming events, promising life-changing sums of money and a chance to make history.

In December, the WPT World Championship will return, offering a global poker event like no other. The event, which will take place at a yet-to-be-disclosed location, will feature three starting flights on December 13, with the action culminating in the final six on December 19. The final table will be held on December 21. Adam Pliska, CEO of WPT, has expressed his excitement, stating that Wynn Las Vegas is the ultimate stage for the WPT World Championship.

Meanwhile, the WSOP Paradise, running from December 4-18, will see the WPT World Championship and WSOP Paradise square off once again. The first event at WSOP Paradise will offer free entry to all WSOP Circuit ring winners between July 1 and December 2. The WSOP Paradise has a $60 million guarantee, making it the largest in poker history. Last year, the WSOP narrowly missed the $50 million guarantee, but this year, they've increased it by $10 million.

The WPT Prime Championship is also set to take place in December, with four starting flights from December 7 to 10, and Day 2 on December 11. The tournament will play down to the final six on December 12, with the delayed televised final table scheduled for December 20.

After an aggressive Gold Rush campaign this summer from ClubWPT Gold, fans are eagerly awaiting WPT's next move. While details about this year's events have yet to be revealed, WPT has promised "special announcements" in the coming weeks. The full schedule of side events for the WPT World Championship will be released at a later date.

However, the specific players who will take a seat at the table for the delayed December 2025 broadcast of the WPT World Championship final have not been publicly disclosed yet. The 2025 WPT World Championship schedule is announced, but detailed player information for the final table is not available in the current sources.

Last year, the WPT's flagship event didn't have a guarantee and instead ran a $5 million Invitational freeroll. In contrast, the WPT World Championship had a $40 million guarantee in 2023, but missed it by $2.4 million.

As the poker world gears up for these exciting events, fans and players alike are eager to see who will emerge victorious and make their mark in the annals of poker history. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to these historic events.
