Marc Wilmots and Ben Manga, the sporting director and squad planner at Schalke, have secured their first new signing for the upcoming season. Anton Donkor, a 26-year-old left-back, is joining the team after his release from Braunschweig, and he has signed a contract until 2027.

Here's a complete review of Schalke's transfers during a disappointing season:

  1. Marius Müller (30) was signed for €350,000 from Lucerne. As a goalkeeper, he made six clean sheets, and proved to be a valuable backup and leader for the team. (Grade: A-)
