In the world of technology, rumours and speculations are as common as the latest gadgets themselves. Two devices that have been generating a lot of buzz recently are the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Air.

According to reports from SamLover, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumoured to dominate benchmarks with its upcoming release. The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, with an overclocked version potentially exclusive to the S26 Ultra initially. This could result in over 4 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, a significant improvement of around 600,000 points over the previous generation.

However, it seems that the Galaxy S26 Ultra might not see a significant battery upgrade, which could be a point of contention for some consumers.

On the other side of the fence, the iPhone 17 Air is also creating a stir. Rumours suggest that it will be as powerful as the 17 Pro, but with a catch. Unfortunately, no specific details about this catch or the performance uplift are provided. The iPhone 17 Pro Max, too, is rumoured to be a powerful device, though no information about its performance compared to the Air model is given.

It's worth noting that Qualcomm is expected to announce its next flagship Snapdragon chip at the end of September. This could potentially influence the performance of rival devices as well.

Regrettably, no specific release dates for the iPhone 17 Pro Max or the Galaxy S26 Ultra have been revealed yet. As always, we'll keep our ears to the ground for any new developments and bring you the latest updates as they come.
