Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S25 models promise significant enhancements in performance and increased AI capabilities.

Samsung has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S25, which includes three models: the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. These devices represent a significant leap forward in mobile technology, boasting a range of innovative features and upgrades over their predecessors.

Advanced Hardware and Performance

All three models in the Galaxy S25 series are powered by the new 3-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPUs. According to Samsung, these chips offer a performance boost of 37% in CPU performance, 30% in GPU performance, and 40% in NPU performance over the S24 series.

The Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra all come equipped with 12GB RAM, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.

Enhanced Camera Capabilities

The camera system on the Galaxy S25 series has received a significant upgrade. The main camera on the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus is a 50MP Wide AF OIS, while the S25 Ultra boasts a 200MP Wide AF OIS main camera. The ultra-wide camera on all three devices is 12MP, and the telephoto camera on the S25 and S25 Plus is a 10MP 3x Tele AF OIS, with the S25 Ultra featuring both a 10MP 3x Tele AF OIS and a 10MP 5x Tele AF OIS telephoto camera.

The zoom capabilities of the S25 and S25 Plus are 3x Optical Zoom (2x Optical Quality) and 30x Space Zoom, while the S25 Ultra offers 3x, 5x Optical Zoom (2x, 10x Optical Quality) and 100x Space Zoom. All three phones can record 4K videos at 60fps and 8K videos at 30fps, with the selfie camera on all devices being a 12MP Wide AF.

Additional Features

The Galaxy S25 series also includes a host of other innovative features. The S25 Ultra comes with an embedded S Pen, and all devices feature the Now Bar, Now Brief, Audio Eraser, ProScaler, and an improved cooling system.

The S25 Plus features a 6.7" QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate, while the Galaxy S25 has a 6.2" FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with the same refresh rate. The Galaxy S25 Ultra boasts a 6.9" QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display.

All three devices in the Galaxy S25 series are IP68 rated, feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and Armor Aluminum (Frame) or similar durability features.

Availability and Pricing

The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus started sales in February 2025, with the S25 Ultra following suit. The Galaxy S25 FE will start sales in Germany on September 5, 2025, with prices starting at 749 euros for the 128 GB model.

The Galaxy S25 series is available in Icyblue, Navy, Mint, and Silver Shadow colorways.
