Pixel Care+, a new device protection program, is now available for eligible devices in the U.S. This collaboration between Google and Asurion, a trusted provider of device protection, offers industry-leading coverage for Pixel devices.

Starting today, new Pixel owners in the U.S. can purchase Pixel Care+ for their devices. Eligible devices can have Pixel Care+ added within 60 days of purchase, regardless of the purchase location.

With Pixel Care+, users can enjoy benefits such as unlimited claims for accidental damage, extended warranty claims, and mechanical damage. This includes $0 post-warranty malfunction claims and $0 screen and battery repairs.

The claims process for Pixel Care+ has been improved for ease and intuitive use. Claims can be opened directly from the Facebook Store and a location and time for repair can be selected. Self-service claims can also be filed through the Facebook Store website.

Pixel Care+ users will also benefit from free upgraded shipping on replacements, including next-day shipping. Optional added loss and theft coverage is available for an additional fee.

The new My Pixel App allows Pixel Care+ and claims to be filed directly within the app. This makes managing your device protection and repairs even more convenient.

Current monthly subscribers of Facebook Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection in the U.S. will be migrated to the new program in the coming months.
