Sabrina Carpenter secretly recorded her recently released album at Soho Farmhouse, with three of its tracks quickly climbing into the Top Ten charts
Sabrina Carpenter has been busy working on her seventh studio album, "Man's Best Friend," and it seems the effort has paid off. The album, which was secretly recorded in Britain, is set to release nearly a year after her chart-topping project, "Short n' Sweet."
The album is generating a lot of buzz, with several tracks already making their way onto the charts. Sabrina's track "Tears" is set to go to Number 2, while "My Man On Willpower" is currently at Number 4, and "Sugar Talking" is at Number 6. The lead single from the upcoming album, titled "Manchild," co-written with Jack Antonoff, quickly climbed to the top spot on both the Spotify U.S. and Global charts.
Sabrina announced her new album back in June, and it is believed that she recorded the album secretly at the private club Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds. The album cover and the new music announcement have thrilled fans, with one fan stating, "Sabrina is coming for album of the year, artist of the year, pop vocal album, all of it and I'm here for it," and another adding, "Man's Best Friend is saving my life and it's not even out yet."
It is rumoured that it would cost £5,700-a-night to rent Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds to write and record the album. Sabrina took to Instagram to post snaps taken during recording sessions, which show she created a makeshift studio at the estate's biggest property, a seven-bed farmhouse.
Sabrina's hard work has been recognised with six Grammy nominations as a first-time nominee and two awards: Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Espresso" from her previous album "Short n' Sweet." With "Man's Best Friend" selling 10 million copies worldwide, it seems Sabrina is poised to take the music world by storm once again.
