Sixteen-year-old Scarlett, daughter of Ryan Thomas, openly announces her decision to forgo taking her GCSEs.

Ryan Thomas' daughter Scarlett, aged 16, discloses that she opted not to take her General Certificate of Secondary Education exams, commonly known as GCSE's.

In a heartfelt TikTok video, 16-year-old actress Scarlett Thomas, daughter of Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh, shared her feelings about not receiving her GCSE results. The video, set to music and featuring simple lines of POV text, expressed Scarlett's curiosity about what her results might have been like if she had taken the exams like her peers.

The video sparked a flurry of comments, with some followers expressing support for Scarlett, praising her talent and accomplishments, and stating that her future is not determined by GCSE results. Others, however, believed it was a poor decision for Scarlett not to have taken her GCSE exams, while some were simply confused about why she didn't sit them.

Two commenters asked Scarlett why she didn't do her GCSE's and why she didn't receive them. Scarlett's career, solidified by her appearances in shows like Waterloo Road and The Nation's Favourite Disney Song, has been a topic of conversation among her followers. One follower labelled her a "nepo baby," implying she didn't do her GCSE's because she thought she would become a big superstar.

However, many of Scarlett's followers came to her defence, stating that she is already doing amazing things and doesn't need GCSE's to determine her future. The caption of the TikTok video was one of encouragement, congratulating viewers on their results.

It's uncertain whether Scarlett will sit her GCSE's in the future, as she said "but I will forever wonder" in the video. The video, which showed Scarlett posing in front of a camera with immaculate makeup, has sparked a debate among her followers about the importance of traditional education in the entertainment industry.
