The Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) is currently assessing the damage to trains on the Kramatorsk direction, following a blockage near Slaviansk. This unfortunate incident has caused a pause in suburban and long-distance train services on this route.

In an effort to maintain service, backup tracks and maintenance equipment have been mobilised to repair the defect. The company has not yet provided a restoration time for trains on the Kramatorsk direction.

In the meantime, buses are being considered as an alternative for certain sections of the route. Additionally, the possibility of using reserve diesel locomotives has been explored to ensure the smooth operation of trains where possible.

The public is advised to check for updates on the Ukrainian Railways' official channels for the most accurate and timely information regarding their services on the Kramatorsk direction.
