Russian waste recycling venture spearheaded by Steven Siegal's company

In an announcement made by Mikhail Zamarov, co-founder of "Hakiri" and founder of Zamarin Group, the company was registered on August 26, 2021. The organisation, founded by actor Steven Seagal and his son Dominic, aims to address waste disposal issues in Russia, contributing to the target indicators of the national project "Ecology" by 2030.

"Hakiri" focuses on the recycling of "dirty" plastic, requiring special approaches to disposal. According to Mikhail Zamarov, the main goal is to implement ecological projects related to waste disposal within the framework of the national project "Ecology".

The national project "Ecology" in Russia aims to address waste disposal issues, and "Hakiri" plans to contribute to its target indicators by 2030. To achieve the goal of reducing waste volume, a large-scale infrastructure for sorting and recycling waste needs to be created.

"Hakiri" plans to develop infrastructure for recycling "dirty" plastic, a challenging task that requires innovative solutions. The recycling waste treatment infrastructure is realized through the construction of modern waste sorting and recycling factories, enabling large-scale processing and sustainable handling of plastic waste in Russia.

Steven Seagal owns 34% of the shares in "Hakiri", while his son Dominic owns 33%. No new information was provided about the ownership structure of "Hakiri".

In addition to co-founding "Hakiri", Steven Seagal has also completed another business venture in Russia, as reported by "Live Kuban". However, no further details about the nature of this additional business were provided.

Mikhail Zamarov emphasized that the key indicator for "Hakiri" is to reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills by half. This ambitious goal, if achieved, could significantly contribute to the national project "Ecology" and the overall environmental health of Russia.

Despite not disclosing specific plans or timelines for the implementation of this large-scale waste infrastructure, Mikhail Zamarov stated that the creation of such infrastructure is crucial for "Hakiri". With the combined efforts of Steven Seagal, Dominic Seagal, and Mikhail Zamarov, "Hakiri" is poised to make a significant impact on waste disposal in Russia.
