In a tragic turn of events, overnight Russian air strikes have caused widespread destruction and loss of life across Ukraine. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, four people were killed in the attacks, with a mother and her three-month-old son among the casualties in Kyiv.

The city of Kyiv was not the only area affected. Dozens of people were injured, and further damage was reported to houses, a kindergarten, and a high-rise in Odessa. The attack on Odessa also saw a high-rise being hit, adding to the devastation.

The Russian attack on Ukraine, which has been ongoing for more than three and a half years, was the largest drone attack since the beginning of the war. Reports suggest that over 800 combat drones, cruise missiles, and rockets were involved in the assault.
