Russia has seized a Ukrainian city in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to their announcement.

In a series of dramatic events over the weekend, Ukraine found itself at the centre of a massive Russian attack. The assault, which began in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeted missile factories, aircraft equipment, and airfields across Ukraine.

The attack left a tragic toll in the heart of Kiev, with 23 lives lost. Remarkably, the diplomatic offices of the European Union in Kiev remained untouched by the violence.

Meanwhile, in the southern region of Ukraine, General Lieutenant Oleg Makarevich, commander of the Dnepr forces grouping, led Russian forces to the capture of the city of Kamishevakha in the Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk. Reports suggest that Russian forces inflicted over 250 casualties on four enemy brigades in three cities around Dnipropetrovsk.

The Russian military reported advances in the regions of Kharkiv and Donetsk, but specific details about these advancements or casualties on enemy brigades were not immediately available.

The attack in the region of Zaporizhzhia was also reported, with a five-story residential building being hit. The attack resulted in at least one civilian death and injuries to 28 people, including children.

In response to the Russian offensive, Ukrainian forces have reported success in neutralising threats, with 510 drones and decoys, as well as 38 missiles, being shot down or neutralised. However, further information about the targets of the attack in southern Ukraine was not provided.

The targets of the nighttime attack in Ukraine were reportedly destroyed, but specific details about these targets were not disclosed.
