Russia allocates $1.5M to rebuild flood-hit rural clubs in Omsk Oblast
Russia's Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, has approved funding to rebuild rural clubs in Omsk Oblast's Ust-Ishimsky District. The decision follows his recent visit to the region, which suffered severe flooding earlier this year. A total of 138.6 million rubles will now be allocated for recovery efforts.
The funds will come from the country's reserve budget and focus on restoring cultural and recreational spaces. Four rural clubs—Ashikhansky, Kaynaulsky, Sdobodchikovsky, and Bolshoytebendinsky—will receive modular structures to replace damaged facilities.
Governor Vitaly Khotchenko confirmed the order's signing, highlighting its importance for local communities. However, official reports clarify that no new medical emergency stations were included in the state support package for the district.
The allocated money will purchase and install modular buildings for the affected clubs. This move aims to restore essential community spaces after the 2024 floods. No further medical infrastructure upgrades have been announced for the area.
