Rural Districts Get a Visit from Hauk
In the heart of August 2025, Minister Peter Hauk embarked on a tour across various regions of Germany to gain insights into various projects and initiatives.
The tour began on August 12, with visits to multiple locations. Minister Hauk started his day in Denzlingen, where he spent time with the Mack family and the Metzgerei Linder. Later that day, he travelled to Merdingen to visit the Testfeld for Agri-Photovoltaic Model Installations.
The following day, on August 13, Minister Hauk had a packed schedule. He started his day at the Forschungsstelle for Lake Research in Langenargen, followed by a visit to the Geßlerhof in Ebenweiler. In the evening, he visited the Destillerie Steinhauser in Kressbronn.
On August 14, Minister Hauk's first stop was the Kompetenzzentrum for Fruit Growing, Garden and Landscape in Weil der Stadt. Later that day, he visited the LEKI company in Kirchheim Teck. In the evening, he inspected the "Management Concept for Geese" pilot project in Esslingen and took a tour of the Collegium Academicum student and apprentice residence.
The tour continued on August 19, with Minister Hauk inspecting the wooden new construction of the Collegium Academicum student and apprentice residence once again. He also took the opportunity to inform himself about the current situation regarding African Swine Fever on two separate occasions.
