Crystal Palace are reportedly looking to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, with manager Tony Pulis aiming to improve on last season's eleventh place finish. The South London club have been linked with moves for several players, including Frazier Campbell, Gylfi Sigurdsson, and England international defender Steven Caulker.

Last season, Frazier Campbell could not prevent Cardiff City from being relegated to the Championship. However, he managed to score nine goals, his best return in six seasons, which has caught the attention of Crystal Palace. According to Sky Sports, the Eagles are also close to signing Campbell from Cardiff City.

Another player on Pulis' radar is Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Icelandic midfielder made fourteen starts in the Premier League last season for Tottenham Hotspur and notched up thirty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring six times. Crystal Palace are reportedly close to securing Sigurdsson's signature, according to Sky Sports.

Steven Caulker, an England international defender, is also a target for Crystal Palace. Queens Park Rangers and Southampton are also reportedly interested in the 26-year-old. The details about Caulker's appearances last season are not available, but his presence could strengthen Palace's defence.

Crystal Palace's impressive form in a recent friendly against Austrian side Grazer AK is a testament to Pulis' ambition. The Eagles thrashed Grazer AK 13-1, with the exact number of goals scored by the new signings not specified.

With the new season on the horizon, it remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace can secure the signings of Campbell, Sigurdsson, and Caulker. If they do, it could be a pivotal move in their bid to challenge for a higher position in the Premier League.

In the meantime, Crystal Palace fans will be eagerly awaiting any updates on potential signings, hoping that their team can build on last season's success and push for a higher finish in the league.
