Royal Capital Group names Sven Saebel as new Managing Director amid festive celebrations

Royal Capital Group has named Sven A. Saebel as its new Managing Director. The company is also rolling out festive celebrations across its central Vietnam properties for the holiday season. Guests at its resorts and hotels will enjoy special events, from rooftop parties to poolside countdowns.

Saebel steps into the role with over 25 years of experience in global hospitality. More than two decades of that time were spent in Vietnam. His leadership approach centres on service excellence, sustainable expansion, and nurturing talent.

Earlier this year, he was recognised as Vietnam's Leading General Manager 2024 at the Best Hotels, Resorts Awards. Now, he will guide the strategic direction and daily operations of Royal Capital Group's hospitality division. Meanwhile, the group's properties are gearing up for the festive period. Hotel Royal Hoi An will host a rooftop farewell to 2025 at The Deck, the highest rooftop venue in Hoi An Ancient Town. Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort and Royal Beachfront Villas Danang will welcome the New Year with a poolside countdown. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve buffet dinners are also on the agenda. Live music, lucky draws, and entertainment will feature at each event. Guests across all three locations—Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort, Royal Beachfront Villas Danang, and Hotel Royal Hoi An Danang—can expect curated holiday activities throughout the season.

Saebel's appointment comes as Royal Capital Group enhances its guest offerings for the holidays. The company's resorts and hotels will provide a mix of dining, entertainment, and celebrations. His experience and vision are set to shape the group's future in Vietnam's hospitality sector.
