Fire at Single-Family Home in Hasloh, Pinneberg, Quickly Controlled

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 15:19 hrs, a fire broke out on the roof of a single-family home in Hasloh, Pinneberg. The incident required the participation of more than 100 firefighters and emergency services personnel.

Initially, five workers were on the roof of the single-family home, attempting to extinguish the fire with a garden hose. However, due to the nature of the fire, which was classified as FEU 3 R5, indicating a fire with three water jets and potential for up to five injuries, it quickly became clear that additional resources were needed.

The fire departments of Quickborn and Bilsen were alerted with a breathing apparatus emergency team in succession. The turntable ladder of FF Quickborn was deployed in the firefighting efforts. The roof was sawed open in the area of the chimney and a dormer at the rear to facilitate the extinguishing work.

Despite the initial fear of injuries, everyone involved managed to escape unharmed. No injuries were reported in the incident. The fire was fought from two locations: Pinneberger Landstraße and Straße Großer Dohrn. The follow-up extinguishing work under breathing apparatus protection continued until around 17:00 hrs.

After about an hour, the fire was brought under control. Most personnel were released from the incident by 17:45 hrs. The insulation material was removed from the roof, and the hazardous materials unit was dispatched to the scene for decontamination measures.

The roof fire in Hasloh was under the operational command of Patrick Hartel. Kreisbrandmeister Stefan Mohr supported the local incident command. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.

FF Hasloh is maintaining a fire watch until approximately 20:00 hrs. A total of four ambulances, a paramedic, and the organizational leader of the emergency services were dispatched, but none were required for treatment.
