In the heart of Hasloh, on Pinneberger Street, a fire broke out in a single-family home on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The incident, which occurred at around 3:19 PM, sparked an immediate response from local and neighbouring fire departments.

The fire departments of Quickborn and Bilsen were successively alerted, assembling a formidable force of over 100 firefighters and emergency services personnel. Among the first responders were firefighters from Hasloh, who arrived on the scene swiftly. Five workers were already on the roof of the scaffolded single-family home, attempting to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.

The fire in the attic proved to be a challenging one, with the blaze raging for over two hours. To combat the situation, FF Hasloh, FF Quickborn, FF Bilsen, and the LZG dispatched a total of 45 personnel and 22 vehicles to the scene. The Kreisbrandmeister, Stefan Mohr, and the press spokesman from KFV Pinneberg, also joined the operations management to coordinate the efforts.

The hazardous materials squad was deployed to the scene for decontamination measures, and four ambulances, a paramedic, and the organizational leader of the emergency services were dispatched as a precautionary measure, initially fearing there might be injuries. However, despite the initial concerns, all those involved managed to escape unharmed.

The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. As of 5:45 PM, most personnel were released from the operation, with FF Hasloh still on site with a fire watch until approximately 8 PM.
