Roof failure at supermarket leaves two individuals critically hurt

In a shocking incident, a partial collapse of the roof occurred at a supermarket in Lauchringen, Baden-Württemberg. The supermarket, operated by the company Rewe, was open at the time of the incident, around 17:45, according to the police spokesman.

Two individuals were seriously injured as a result of the collapse, but no one was in critical condition. At least two others sustained minor injuries. The number of customers in the store at the time of the incident is currently unknown.

The cashier area of the supermarket in the Waldshut district was affected by the collapse. To assist in the rescue efforts, a rescue helicopter was deployed at the scene.

The cause of the supermarket roof collapse is still under investigation. The police have reported the incident and are working to gather more information.
